How to Avoid Chargebacks?
eCommerce has become an attractive and thriving industry now and I have got involved in this industry for two years. I established an eCommerce company two years ago which sells laptop batteries and other electronic products.
I need to deal with many things everyday and have accumulated quite a lot of experiences in doing ecommerce business. Now I will tell you some tips about avoiding chargebacks according to my experience. sulopay
First, when you receive the payment from customers, do send them an email telling them you have received the money and the name that will show on his or her bank statement. Some chargebacks are due to that the customers do not identify the name for the payment on their bank statements.
Second, when the customers ask for a refund, do not send them products and force them to accept your products, you can ask for the reason why they want a refund and after you confirm that you can not keep the money, you had better give them a refund as soon as possible to avoid unnecessary chargebacks.
Third, if customers make complaints about products and say that they need an exchange or get a part of refund, at the premise that you do not lose money, you had better accept their requests to make them happy, and then they will not tend to chargeback.
Fourth, keep a close touch with the acquiring bank that opens merchant accounts for you, and ask them to help you with checking the credit of customers. If you suspect an order is paid by a stolen credit card, you can ask the customer for a credit card copy and send it directly to the bank for verification. This is a good way to reduce chargebacks of your merchant accounts.
